The Conference was filled to capacity with not-for-profit executives, real estate attorneys, professionals, and enthusiasts alike. On April 1, 2016, the Rooftops Project of the Center for Real Estate Studies at New York Law School hosted its sixth annual Rooftops Conference, which is a symposium for the not-for-profit sector focused on the role of real estate—owned, leased, or hosted physical space—in the operations, financial performance, and achievement of mission by not-for-profit organizations of all sizes and missions. On Friday September 11, 2015, the Center for New York City Law at New York Law School hosted the 128th City Law Breakfast. The speakers were a roundtable of Jeffrey Friedlander, Steven Fishner, Marjorie Landa, Bryan Grimaldi, and Florence Hutner discussing their roles as attorneys for the City on September 11th, 2001 and in the days after.

Matt Gewolb began serving as Legislative Director for the New York City Council under Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito in June 2014. Although he holds among the most powerful staff positions at the Council, Matt is revered for his modesty, incredible intelligence and for putting the goals of the Council before all else.
