On Thursday, September 10, 2026, New York Law School commemorated the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. The panel, “September 11 Commemoration – 25 Years Later: Remembrance, Resilience and the Future of Lower Manhattan” discussed the different collaborative efforts in Lower Manhattan’s recovery and renewal following the attacks. Dean and President of New York Law School Anthony W. Crowell provided opening remarks. Panelists included Carol Kellerman, former Executive Director of the September 11th Fund; Nancy Lefkowitz, Executive Vice President of Tribeca Enterprises; Christopher Ward, former Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; and James Whelan, President of the Real Estate Board of New York. The panel was moderated by Jon Knipe, Co-Chair, Real Estate, Cozen O’Connor and former Cheif Legal Officer of Silverstein Properties.
