Mayor and DCP Celebrate CPC Vote to Approve Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan

On March 19, 2025, Mayor Eric Adams and Department of City Planning Director and City Planning Commission Chair Dan Garodnick celebrated the City Planning Commission’s approval of the Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan. The plan, which covers a 21-block area around Atlantic Avenue between Vanderbilt and Nostrand Avenues in Central Brooklyn, aims to create 4,600 new homes and bring 2,800 permanent jobs to the area. 



City Planning Commission Votes to Approve Nine-Story Mixed-Use Building in Sheepshead Bay

On June 26, 2024, the City Planning Commission voted to approve the 3033 Avenue V Rezoning application. The application enables the construction of a nine-story mixed use development. The project is located in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn and the current site consists of a one-story commercial building with eleven businesses on the north side of Avenue V between Ford and Coyle Streets. The project site is located across the street from the Nostrand Houses.
