On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the Center for New York City and State Law hosted a policy briefing discussing “the Keys to a Successful Mayoral Transition.” Panelists included Anthony W. Crowell, Dean and President of New York Law School and former Counselor to the Mayor; Jennifer Jones Austin, co-chair of 2013 mayoral transition; CEO of FPWA; Meera Joshi, former Deputy Mayor for Operations and President of Green-Wood; and Emma Wolfe, former Deputy Mayor for Administration and Chief of Staff to the NYU President. The panel was moderated by Ben Max, Program Director of the Center for New York City and State Law.
