Mayor Celebrates 20th Anniversary of 311
On March 9, 2023, Mayor Eric Adams celebrated the 20th anniversary of the launch of 311, the city’s platform for New Yorkers to seek assistance and information. The service launched in March 2003 and has taken over 525 million contacts via phone, texts, social media, chat support, and website and mobile app submissions. Mayor Announces $1.5 Million Investment in Small Business Resource Network
On July 26, 2022, Mayor Eric Adams announced a $1.5 million investment in the NYC Small Business Resource Network. Building on commitments from the Mayor’s Economic Recovery Blueprint, this investment will allow the resource network to extend programming through 2023.

Stringer and the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) announced that NYCHA budget and revenue data will be publicly accessible through the City’s Checkbook NYC program. Checkbook NYC is an online tool that provides public access to financial data of City agencies.
HPD Announces Affordable Housing and Library Project in Inwood
The new Eliza project will bring 174 affordable homes and a state-of-the-art public library to the Inwood community. On June 10, 2021, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development announced the Eliza, a mixed use development featuring affordable housing and a public library, and education space, located at 4790 Broadway in Inwood. The project has been fully financed and is moving forward.
