NYLS student leaders hold a Q&A with NYC Mayoral candidate Andrew Yang.
On Wednesday April 28, 2021, New York Law School hosted a Q&A session for NYLS student leaders with NYC Mayoral Candidate Andrew Yang. Dean Anthony Crowell provided welcoming remarks.
Prior to the Q&A session, Mr. Yang gave a speech on his affordable housing platform, which can be found on his campaign website. After his speech, Mr. Yang took several questions from NYLS students, which covered a variety of topics including leadership strategies, how to help people facing homelessness, the City’s recovery post-pandemic, and access to counsel in housing cases.
The event was a part of New York Law School’s Law and Leadership Institute programming engaging with NYC Mayoral candidates on various policy issues and leadership strategies.
