On November 16, 2022, the Department of City Planning released the 2022 edition of “New York City: A City of Neighborhoods” map. The map provides key demographic and topographical details about the city, and outlines community districts and the neighborhoods that are included within those districts. The map was first published in 1994.

On April 11, 2022, the Department of City Planning announced the launch of the new Equitable Development Data Explorer website. The site provides users with data regarding housing, demographics, public health, and other data to compare across neighborhoods in assistance with fairer city planning.
