City Planning Holds Public Hearing for Development of Four Buildings in Boerum Hill

On September 7, 2022, the City Planning Commission held a public hearing for the 280 Bergen Street Rezoning project, an application that would enable the construction of a four-building mixed use development in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn. The applicant seeks to rezone the majority of the block surrounded by Bergen Street to the north, Wyckoff Street to the south, Nevins Street to the west and Third Avenue to the east. 


City Planning Hears Application for Mixed-Use Building in Boerum Hill

On April 13, 2022, the City Planning Commission held a public hearing for a proposed mixed-use residential and commercial building at 98 3rd Avenue in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. The proposed rezoning area is bordered by Bergen Street to the north, Wyckoff Street to the south, 3rd Avenue to the east, and goes into the block westerly approximately 100-120 feet. The proposed project site is currently a Shell gas station. 


Extension to Boerum Hill Historic District Designated

Commission rejected modifications to 288-property extension to Boerum Hill Historic District, composed of three discrete pieces. On June 26, 2018, the Landmarks preservation Commission voted to designate a 288-building extension to the existing Boerum Hill Historic District.
